Klim Kutsevskyy was born and raised in Ukraine; moves to Rome, Italy, in 2005, where actually lives and works.
In his research the visual expression goes beyond the aesthetic gaze, mostly interested in the experiential dimension of the piece of work. The focus is on memory and awareness through details and ideas of physicality and corporeality that is anything but stereotyped and aestheticized image: putting the credibility of the body to the limit, perfectly expressing its materiality. The representation of the nude concerns different levels of interpretation, extending to the anthropological and semiotic ones.
